Title: Getting cheaper car Insurance
Post by: chilli_dub on 16 November 2008, 09:46
Well, after scouting around and looking at other peoples quotes id like to try and save myself some money.
Currently drive a mk3 16v totally original condition, no mods at all and a corsa 1.2ls totally standard too :embarassed: Currently paying £800 for the valver fully comp with the missus as a named driver (im 25 shes 22) we both have 3 points each  :undecided: Not our fault, honest! and £400 for the corsa fully comp with me as the named driver. I have 2 yrs NCB and she has 3, no accidents, claims, nothing. Both been driving for years.

Am i likely to get much cheaper than the £800 and £400? Currently with tesco, is it even worth us paying for fully comp insurance? Should i change the policies to TPFT?

Any input appreciated, want to save as much money as possible at the moment!

Sounds like you're paying too much to me. Give Martin a PM, HIC gave me a good quote and that's who I'm currently with. Should get the Golf insurance down a bit anyway.
