Carbon fibre wheels would be the cost of another Mortgage!!!, doubt hes got those surely :shocked:What makes you think he's got a mortgage??
This thread is useless wihout pics :rolleyes:
+ i am sure it wont be work VS because they have to come from Japan and you wont have them by the 29th.
im guessing the VXX
The only thing with the Volk ME's is that the picture shown is the "face 2" design which is more concave. This looks awesome on the rear of a BMW but it changes quite a lot when you see the "face 1" with ET50 on a MkV Golf. Good, light wheels though.
Come on Hurdy....whatcha got??! :)

My reasoning behind the purchase
Wanted some decent quality lightweight 18" wheels and tyres for under £1k
I asked for an addition to the alloys too. They can do steel inserts that are built into the alloys and strengthen the bolting area for cars with higher performance, so these were incorporated too.
Wheels are 19.8lb which is a saving of 6.7lb (3kg) per wheel.
They are built in the UK to competition specs and come with a 2 year warranty against manufacturing faults.
They open up the brake area at the front of the car nicely too.
I decided against Black as I thought the silver would match better (which I think it does quite well)
My dad's inherited modding pot still has room for a few more bits before I have to delve into any joint savings
get those discs swapped around as they are on wrong

the heat should be forced out not in
nice wheels, i'm a bit half and half on them, but for the performance factor they would be well worth it.
does the car feel/handle any differently?
oh, and I take you go them from billy boy tyres?
I can understand that Illyun.
Mods fall into one of two camps usually
1.Visual mods
2.Performance mods
It is very rare that you get that ultimate mod which covers both aspescts

I can think of a few... Milltek exhaust, CF bonnet, Coilovers (in terms of car stance and handling)
These would look fantastic on your car, Hurdy:

Stop making excuses
Those Sportecs, with a decent amount of polish and wax would last forever....
Its those that dont protect their rims or curb them that have issues with white worm.
22" chrome spinners with inset diamante stones
Hehe
So what are the show rims going to be then Mr Hurdy?

I haven't made my mind up yet, there is soooo much choice out there I'm spoilt.
Not really worth looking until the beginning of next year anyway, unless a must buy bargain pops up.
