can you do them??
-
depends what happens to your license when you get banned, do they take your photocard away?
ive always had to show my license when signing on
-
Yeah me too
ive no idea if im honest with you - not sure if they take it off you or what or it just gets revoked
-
well if you have to surrender your license say you lost the card and just give them the paperwork!
-
Only place I've been so far that hasn't actually asked to see your licence is Castle Combe.

Cant see them physically taking your card off you. Hope not anyway waiting for my court date
-
Yeah but will they actually let ou enev if they dont take your bits of paper off you ?
-
The danger is that even if you don't get your license checked and something goes awry and someone gets hurt the third party insurance on the track might not cover you.
It's an unlikely situation. If you're banned, you're banned. Rather than trying to sneak a track day in during a ban.
H'mmmm, you might like to check the road traffic act too - it's not just roads that are covered.....
What's the ban for?
-
Its a drink driving offence
Still over the limit the morning after
-
Bummer, its scary, its something like 48 hours before your 100% fine again (obviously depending on how much youve drunk)
-
Your licence will be taken away by the court mate when you go for sentencing I know because I got banned in January came off it last month thank god. Definatly wouldnt do it again. You wont be able to do the track day without your licence.
-
Mines for speeding
118 in a 70, still waiting on a court date, reckon I will get a ban...its my first offence aswel.
-
Yea they wont take too kindly on that. The magic mark is 96+, not 100 like most think. I found out due to being caught doin 96 in a 50... one of those daft dual carriageways that is huge and straight for 5 miles! They revoked mine and I had to do both tests again, which took a total of a month. On a disqualification they dont take your card etc.. Ben

Been driving for over 4 years now so wont have to do a retake. Hopefully.
-
I always thought that they just "banned" you on the system , i use my licence for ID aswell surely theyy cant physically take it off you

It depends on how much of an idiot you're been. If you're stupid/drunk enough they'll make you re-take your test.
One of the pleasures of being teetotal is not having to worry about crap like this.

-

-
