Post by: Andy25 on 15 November 2008, 16:40
Hey people!!

Whats the general thoughs on turning a small bumper into a big bumper?? is this not cool?

I've always liked small bumpers but recently been turning into a big bumper lover!! just think big bumpers look beefier!!

Cheers

Depends on what YOU like

Your car you do what you want, Fvck everyone else  as long as you don't go bashing it into other people's cars ofc.

My opinion is that if it's a small bumper, it should stay as a small bumper.
For some reason, if it's got a reg plate older than G reg, it just doesn't look right with big bumpers. G reg cars can go either way as that was the year they changed over.
If you're gonna complete the post 89 look, then you need to swap your front doors with quarter lights for ones without quarter lights and wing mirrors in the corner of the window.

But that's my opinion. It's your car, do what you want. (Within reason and taste)

My 16v is an F reg and never had quater lights. I've "upgraded" it to 90 spec and you can't tell the differnence other than the reg.

I'd say go for it.
