No you dont need any sealant on it. The Wax is the protection for the paint.

If you want some wax for long protection a lot of people use Coli

Just be carefull how you apply it tho.

Its a mare to get off so just do a panel or 2 at a time in thin even layers If you put 3 coats on it will last for ages

Yeah its fine to use like that. It doesnt make a difference if you polish by hand or machine that only affects the finnish you will get with the polish.

If I remember correctly, Coli won't bond to the paint as well if you've got a fresh layer of dodo on there. Either leave it a month or so, or use SRP again beforehand.

And remember to remove and bird sh!te as soon as possible if they do end up targeting your car.

Happened on my focus when it was sunny and baked into the paint end result £1000 respray. Car covers worth getting for the winter gotta get me one of them.

collinite 845 will go over your dodojuice no problem, collinite is a wax and a good wax at that  1 coat will protect your car up to a year, and its detergent proof

once you've polished, apply some sealant if you've got some if not....get some as it protects your paint from salt, rain, and has uv filters etc, then apply your 845, leave for 10/15 mins.......remove then apply your purple haze.
job done and your car will be protected for winter.
put collinite on your wheels aswell and it will make removing brake dust well easy

I don't know if 845 is significantly different to 476s, but if you left 476s on for that length of time, it would dry like glue. Perhaps 845 has a longer drying time??   :undecided:

conker: 845 is basically a gel/liquid form of 476 and is easier to apply and the curing time allows it to bond properly to the suface, the only time ive had it bake on is when ive put it on in hot sunny weather and havent removed it in time  .

em:sealant, poorboys ex-p, chemical guys factory sealant, chemical guys m-seal are my weapons of choice, jetseal 109 is top stuff too
after applying one of the above i put two layers of collinite 845 on then finish of with a layer of dodo juice purple haze or rainforest rub.

wash
clay
wash
polish - deep cut
polish - fine cut
lime prime
jetseal 109 x 2
wax x 2+
collapse

The deep and the fine cut are just different types of polish.

Deep cut corrects the paintork from swirls scratches etc then you go over with the fine cut to refine the finnish. Its more for machine polishing.

I very much doubt you would see the difference if your just polishing by hand so your SRP is fine.
