plugged straight in mate - all i had to do was wire in the aerial amplifier

Yeah if you could check for me please mat ethat would help.

I believe all Golfs are ISO standard but possible bar the Mk5  so you wont need a PCD lead

Just as an option, has anyone got or seen one of these in action?
http://www.caraudiocentre.co.uk/product_m-jvc-kw-avx810_p-23274.htm
I'm after a DoubleDin unit but don't fancy having it 'half inched'. This is the only one i've found with any sort of removable face.

i woul dlike something with bluetooth and sat nav, really like teh VW RNS 510 but its way too pricey! And for that amopunt of money I'm sure I could get a decent Alpine or other after market unit.
Any recommendations?

Yep I agree with that, went back in to buy the same unit from the same store for my girlfriends polo and it was £80 more expensive!
I then reminded him I had bought one the previous month from his show for that £80 cheaper  haha
-
well well well....
I've never seen car audio actually go up in value!
reckon CAD will sell me one for £225 if I ask nicely??
lol

the problem is manufacturing costs have escalated and of course that cost has been passed on to us

Manufacturing costs have gone up and the euro is very strong as the pound is weak at the moment which is crud for us in the UK
A lot of companies hiked up their prices in April from the start of the Fiscal year but I still managed to get me a Pioneer F900BT for a cracking price
