I got my new plates through the other day and they look good. They have lots of designs and they don't charge a fortune. The other plus is you don't need to take loads of paperwork with you to get them done! (Which is a pain ::))

im legally allowed to run them mate, my car is manx registered, and black/silver plates are allowed on cars upto 1992
so the cops back home in Belfast cant do anything to stop me running them!
officially i should re-reg the car when the IOM tax runs out, but that aint till Feb 2005!

are they still illegal if you have them in just german font but with no d band or stadt stickers etc, just yellow and white pressed numberplates?
