Ive got my corroded brake lines off but now im abit stumped where to get new ones. Ive tried my local car part supplier but they dont do them. Anyone know of anywhere in the wirral/chester area or someone on the net?

Should be able to buy a roll of copper pipe, bending and flaring kit and the unions also from a good factor.
-
give your dealer a ring, they can supply them in the right lengths and i believe they'll come with the fittings and ends already flared.
-
Most decent shops will make them up from your old ones. Probably costs a touch more.

Thanks for the replies but i decided to use these guys...

All you have to do is measure the pipes and identify the unions and they send them out to you. All you have to do then is bend them to shape and for £16 for the 3 pipes you cant argue.

Just done the whole of my mk2 for under £22.

Yea Id like to know this too, car passed its MOT today  few days early, but the observation was the brake lines corroding against the metal clips so Id like to get it done/do it myself as cheap as poss!

rub them down with a wire brush and seal them with underseal , this will stop the corrosion :)

i think most motor factors will be able to make brake pipes up for you
