did a quick search on google and ebay, nothing came up.
i'm looking for some yellow tinted (french) headlamps for my mk2, inner spots too. do they exist in RHD? (anyone know of a set?)
if not then i've heard of Lamin-x - anyone have any experience of this product?

Did you know that they can be painted... small motor accesory shops still have the paint on the shelf, I doubt that the likes of Halfords still stock it, as its no longer a legal requirement when driving on the continent, apply it with a soft sable brush, and you can get near perfect results

The yellow tint in French lights was due to the type of bulb that used to be mandated for use in that country.
It's no longer needed, or legal in France.
Don't do it.

Says the grumpy dad of the forum . I like the yellow lights. No idea where to get them from though.

I think it looks good but thats my opinion. and you can use yellow tint spray.

i don't really see the point in this mod, soposedly yellow light is better in the rain but the rest of the time it's sh!te, and it's just another excuse for bored piggys to give you hasstel

a guy i know had them on his mk2, but hes sold them and if i see him ill ask him how or where he got them from and ill post up

i already have yellow tinted 'all weather' bulbs (glass is yellow not clear), but they dont appear as yellow as OE yellow lamp units.

i work in a car parts shop but we keep nothing on the styling front like tint spray etc... its more service items and tools. i've used tint spray and bulb paint before but it nearly always looks ropey, and wont come off well without a fight! :undecided:

But then the beam pattern will be wrong anyway
Try going to hobbycraft and buying some glass paint from there, better than most spray on tat you find in halfords etc, cheaper too

yellow glass paint is crap
heard good feedback from about that Lamix stuff elsewhere
