Why oh why oh why....
It seems everytime I go into VW lately for a bit for my Mk2 they are no longer available!
Anyone know why this is?

Unfortunately, they are old cars now so not suprised!
I have rubbers for the front windows for a Rallye (and all other models I think) if anyone is intrested!

A manufacture only has to supply parts for 8 to 10 years, I have been finding more and more parts obsolete for my mk3 lately.

I can understand that Wayne, they have closed loads of ship building companies over the years. Must be a nightmare for MK3 owners!

The list of things not obsolete is the one I use for the Rado as it's much shorter than the list of things that are.

Yes, think I'm gonna have to get my local stealer to print me a list out. At least then I wont have to waste my time asking them!

good on em...but we do need the rubbers and stuff and are they gonna get them or anyone else manufacture? This was summat the clubgti lot were talking about the membership fees going towards before things heated up with other "clubs" and "forums" springing up...i reckon its a good idea, and i believe the capri owners club did do this or summat like it... :cool:

Mk2's haven't been made for 16 years so not really surprised.
