Title: Bloody Rain!

Not a great drive today, from Tunbridge Wells to Bournemouth and when i get to the M25 my drivers side windscreen wiper broke! so had to drive the rest of the journey back in the pouring rain leaning over to the passenger side to see! Under close inspection one of the linkages has decided that working for 20 years is more than enough for it!   :rolleyes:

Anyway there is a purpose to my rant and that is if i can use the windscreen wiper mechanism/linkage from a mk3 golf? Only say this as i have one to hand.

Substantially different looking diagram in yer ETKA and the motor's a totally different part number.

Doesn't look positive.

Almost definately not - I was thinking this when my linkage broke, its a no go.

Best just buying a new linkage/mech. And a tip - if you buy a new mech, remove the circlips and draw the shafts out, clean them up and grease them up.
