Title: 16v turbo inlets..
Post by: jamie16v on 09 November 2008, 09:51
what inlet manifold`s could i get to fit, or would be a straight fit to the ABF head.. obviously the ABF one and i think the KR..
but i am after one that is suitable for forced induction applications and doesnt take up so much room like the standard 16v ones..
any ideas chaps?.

audi  s2  one 20vt 5cyl with end cut off  or a 20vt 4 cyl one with the flange cut off and 16v one welded on.    the cut 4 cyl one is quite popular atm

you mean the flange for the throttle body i guess?.. why use the 16v flange over the 20v one?. isnt the 20v one already used to F/I applicaitions?.

i'm on about the bit that bolts to the head, use the 20v throttel flange with 2e throttel body that fits straight on

right, i see, so the 20v inlet wont bolt onto the head unless all the flanges coming from the plenum have been cut off and 16v ones welded on?..
