Title: MK3 Sills

Has anyone ever removed the mk3 sills that always fall off, rust? What do they look like without, once you have stripped them down to paint? Or shall i keep to the original ones??

you mean the plastic covers off the side skirts that are steel lined??  just get a new one, 25 quid per side at the dealers

Yeah, iv got some new ones, but once there off you have another plastic piece which is screwed onto the car, it looks as if its painted under there.
If i remove this and clean the paint up what will it look like?

well it will look like a non gti golf, a few people do this mod
