sh!te mate, might be losing boost somewhere, and definitely needs mapping again for the new turbo. im sure jabba will sort it !

what a bummer, i read your jabba post how much would we be looking @. and how does the car feel with the new turbo??

Prices should be....
1.8T = ?475-10% = ?427.50
TDi = ?425-10% = ?382.50

With the revo switched on the car seems to hold back on the boost above 3rd gear, maybe hitting soft-limp mode. Switch it off and the car feels to have a stronger pull, up to 6.5 - 7k rpms (in comparison to stock mode, obviously)
It's perfectly driveable, but i'm leaving it in stock mode until i take it to jabba, to give the turbo a good run-in. This also means i'll be jumping from 165bhp-ish to 240bhp-ish in one day, can't wait !  ;D

are you sure your driveshafts can take 240bhp?!?

Yep, there are plenty of 325bhp+ mk4 golfs with IHI turbos running standard driveshafts with no problems at all.
