Post by: ben1.8T on 03 November 2008, 10:36
Hello peeps decorated my room over the weekend and found a Haynes modifying manual that I brought when I had my MK3 GTI if anyone wants to collect it? No use to me as I have got a MK4 Turbo now.

what's it got in it out of interest? is it general modifications, or model specific down to the point of OEM modifications?

Your best of having a trade account at somewhere cheaper to begin with.

Halfords wanted £120 for something i then got online £30 posted, exact same item.....

Says it all! lol

But for all it's high prices it's open at 4pm on a sunday afternoon and is walking distance from my flat, internet maybe cheap but I'd like to see eBay get me that bit "I really need right now or I can't get to work tomorrow".

^^^ true its handy for those bits an peice's you need there an then for small change, but for relatively big things that cost abit, i'd prefer, Pay for the item an postage which is most probably gonna work out cheaper, an wait a few days an have it delivered to my door. coz im lazy  :smug:
