My car, bless her has a most annoying, and very embarressing, habit of tooting every time I indicate right or turn the wheel too hard.
Forget main beam - its a constant BeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeepBeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeepBeeeeeeeeeeeeep .....
Andy reckons I need new stalks, etc - so question is, does anyone out there have a decent set for sale???
(mk2 gti G plate - if that makes any difference - or not?)
Cheers guys

wanted section??

its probably the wheel rather than the stalks, though it might be the horn contact has bent a bit and is earthing on a screw or something. take the wheel off and have a look!

That reminds me of the time it happened to me, driving through Ely town centre with the horn paaaarping whilst trying to hold the button section off the steering wheel to stop it & change gear, etc.. etc..!
I took the plastic horn cover off the steering wheel & bent the metal contact plate straight with my fingers, popped it back together & hey presto.. Horn didn't work!
You'll get it right, just bend it a little bit so it's not making permanent contact..
Groove on.

Thats what I thought too , had this before, Imagine my car may have had a different steering wheel in the past and they hadnt put it back together quite as the horn originally was.
Its just on spade connectors underneath.
Think you lif from the top towards yourself first, either way it will come off!
