Post by: Hurdy on 31 October 2008, 11:46

Yes Hurdy, when I first bought the ED30 in June this year, at my local Tesco's it used to cost me £60 to fill the tank at circa £1.20/litre.  I filled up at my local Tesco 's last week with 99 at 99.9p/litre and it cost under £50 - was quite pleased with that !

As soon as the fuel light came on last week in mine I went to Tesco to feed her some 99. I had the 5p off a litre ticket after my mum kindly donated it to me after her weekly shop, it cost me £44.00 to fill it up!! I could not believe my eyes!  Hopefully the prices will keep coming down, needless to say the fuel light came on this morning on the way to work with only 230 miles on the trip, it's been a good week

I put some in at Tescos last night and it was £102.9 for 99 paid £106 for 97 on Sunday so thought that was alright.

Last week V-Power was 106p, when I filled up on Monday night it was 101p

Not getting too excited, they are cutting oil production in order to force the prices back up.  Wucking fankers!

Well I'm waiting oin a big fat contract in the Middle East - all dependent on a massive government project which will be given the green light in November.  Suffice to say the oil price collapse was worrying me somewhat as the project could be cancelled if it keeps going down
