Title: For those looking for a bargain price on a Dogbone Mount Insert.
Post by: bacillus on 30 October 2008, 08:17
I saw this thread over on vortex and thought that even with international postage may work out cheaper than what's available over here in the UK.

That is cheap, shouldnt there be a strengthned bolt though too, not just a new OEM one ?

That's what I did............

From what I have been led to beleive it's not a strengthned bolt but a stretch bolt which is advisable to replace once removed.

But this isn't an expensive item in the UK anyway and by the time you've added shipping and feckin taxes.

You get one free if you buy a Milltek exhaust

I would contact RoadRunner and ask why not. Then, if necessary, phone Milltek 01332 227 280 Dave Marshall.

I believe the engine movement was cracking there pipes probably goes along with most peeps getting more BHP as well to add extra movement over stock so they now throw one in free to be fitted with new zorst.

....Not the exhaust pipes (if that's what you meant) but the mounts. See my pic below : -
