Ok I posted a few weeks ago about my PAS Pump Being out of alignment... After much messing about its still out of alignment!!! Also when it rains i lose PAS and my fan belt keeps slipping! V. boring! V.Annoying.... Im thinking the fan belt is slipping due to my amp and sub?? Any how!! I have been given a bigger amperage alternator which has a different style pulley on I think from a mk3 as looking at some pics they tend to run much more substanstial Vbelts... Is it possible to go down the scrappy and swap all the other piullys over and maybe get a mk3 PAS Pump and knock out all these problems in one go???

yes

yep deffo worth the ball ache too, mk3 setup is the nuts. only issue is if you have a 16v you need a 16v ABF crank pulley which can be hard to source, if its an 8v then any 1.8+ MK3 setup will do you, just make sure you get EVERYTHING including the bolts/studs that hold the waterpump on, the pas pump, all brackets etc etc

Ok!! Cool! Do I have to change The PAS Braket and Pump for the mk3 version?? Or can i just get away with a pulley??
Thanx!!

everything ;)
the MK2 PAS pipes bolt straight to the MK3 PAS pump :)

Wicked Time to start hunting for broken Mk3 valvers!!!

just to add, the only 16v specific bit is the pulleys bolted to the crank and the 4 bolts holding it on, the rest of the brackets, alt, pas pump etc can be sourced from any 1.8+ 8v or 16v MK3 :)
