Just wondsering what people think about these, are either of the any good? Am leaning to the 4 - 1 design for top end gains as it's going in a 16v...Hmmm

cheers

second one looks more like a 421, the first was 4----------21. lol. Plus hottuning are a company that come highly rated with being reliable, and good for price. My friend bought one recently and it seemed to be ok, although im not sure on any bhp gains it gave, if any, and that was on a honda crx.

the first is a 4-1.
second one is a hottuning one 4-2-1.
iirc 4-1 will give you better top end and 4-2-1 will give you better low and mid range.

I am currently running one of those pro cat 4-1 mani's and have had no problems so far. If you get one then make sure you heat wrap it first as the heat comming off them will melt stuff around it, also makes it more efficient. They are a bit noisey ie rattley when flooring it, but i think thats how they are. On the whole for the money i would recommend the pro cat, very fast delivery too.
What you putting on the end of it? I run a miltek but they are now unavailable.

Be carefull as some of these cheap ebay exhaust manifolds are imported or sold from europe and are designed for LHD cars, that doesn't mean they won't fit a RHD car, it is just sometimes a bit of work.

I have a Raceland manifold on my 8v daily. It passes very close to the boot for the UJ on the steering column.

i have a 4-1 manifold and full mild steel system for a mk2 16v just sitting doing nothing as i now have a full miltek system on mine. (had to change as i have an ABF engine otherwise i would have kept it)
If any wants it i was looking for about £100 quid?
oh yeah, it has a twin round tailpipe.

Mate of mine got a manifold from ebay for his pulsar, sh!te quality and bolt holes did not match. I would rather spend a little more and buy something branded or a second hand quality item.
