Sorry to hear about that Alan, give Lepsons a call, they're in Gillingham, so not far from you. They have been very highly recommended by various people in the trade.
Sending my 18 inch Monza 2's to them for powdercoating in a couple of weeks.

You could try "Wicked Wheels" in Crawley.
I've seen various wheels they've done and they've always been superb.

I've used Pristine in the past and have been happy with their service although they are quite pricey.

"** Chrome effect, diamond cut and split rim finish are not available."
:( Spoke to the VW approved place that they use and have been told that I will have to have the wheel sent away to get a diamond cut wheel done. Going to try a few other places today.
Has anyone on here actually had a Monza wheel refurbished by a mobile person? Is it possible?

No idea, I phoned up my local dealer and said I have MK5 GTi Monza wheels, and need to know if they are something something or something something something (i cant actually remeber what I asked him now but its what the wheel man asked me to ask him) and he basically said that he is asking if they are single colour or dual colour and he said the mk5 is dual colour . . . ? Anyone shed any more light on it?
-
Well from that pic i'd say that yours are just painted silver

Alan, if there 17'' they are not diamond cut and anyone should be able to do a decent repair. If they are 18'' then they will be Monza 2's and will need a more specialist repair

They are indeed 17s. Thanks for the info, finally getting somewhere now :)

In that case it's a standard painted finish.

Im probs just got to use the place that my local dealer gave me. I know you should never assume things but I take seeing as they are VWs recomendation they must be half decent.
