hi,this morning i was out at the car just cleaning it and i happend to check the oil cap
it was all creamy underneath so i pulled out the dipstick but no creamy bits there i only use the car
at the min to get to work and back and i was told that the engine is not getting warm enough hence
the creamy gunk ive 10w/40 in it at the min should i mabey go a lighter oil? im pretty sure the head hasnt gone
its a 8v pb engine

It will more than likely be condensation. If your head gasket has gone it will overheat quickly. I get creamy oil in my camper sometimes and that's air cooled. I dont think a different oil will make any difference to be honest.

yeah as above, ignore it!

short stop start journeys means the engine doesnt get up to temp
had this on wifes old corsa, everyone was saying head gasket.
rocker cover off , cleaned,
oil changed and a flush.
took it on a 480 mile trip, never had the issue return

once the oil temp gets over 100C the water buggers off quite quickly, if it rarely gets there it just collects
