Title: p reg mk3 8v gti keeps cutting out

has anyone else experienced this? there seems to be a relay "click" down near my right knee, that just cuts the engine- sometimes it starts again first try, other times it takes 20+ minutes! does any one have any ideas,as its been doing it for a while now, quite annoying when overtaking!!

could be ECU relay 30? or fuel pump relay!

my car used to do this but i just cleaned the throtal body and everything was fine? maybe u could try that its a 20 min job!

Mine did that to. I cleaned throttle body with carb cleaner and all was well.

mine is doing this the now, cleaned the throttle body, but some times still cutting out when i first drive..

Clean the throttle bodie properly and all will be well
