alright lads
thinkin of gettin a TDI possibly 115. just wondering how many miles on average you get from sayyyyyy £20????
thanks
-
i get over 500 miles from my remapped 130 and heavy foot which at last fill cost me £55 for 48 litres of the premium diesel
basing it on today's current prices £20 should get you around 200 miles or so
way i look at it £10 = 100 milesor thereabouts
HTH
-
that is flippin brilliant, thats like double what i get  deffo be gettin one then lol
cheers mate
-
I get about 80-90 miles to every £10 casual driving and giving it some stick now and then.
If i tried hard enough and poddled around in 6th and free wheeled, i'm sure I'd get about 110 miles.
They are awesome cars, they handle like a pram on stilts but once the suspension is sorted they're
awesome.
-
Yes great milege on them. I do around 185 miles a week on 20 quid. Its good going.
-
On average i get 400 miles to a full tank.. would have to drive like a girl to get 500 lol
-
I do 500 miles a week and at todays prices its costing me £46.
-
I not owned my 130 for too long and ive filled up since buying it and have yet to use the fuel.
Done about 370 miles and a 1/4 of a tank to go
The main reason of changing to a TDi and only £120 for tax a year too

hi matee, ive got a 130pd,remapped..im getting 230mls out of £20 driving normaly.heavy right foot, spooling the turbo up everywhere and you can get it down to about 120mls..buy one mate, you'l neva look back.mines done 103500mls now on an 02plate,styl pulling strong,no smoke.the pd engine is fantastic.
-
be very careful comparing mpg from petrol to diesel cars nowadays - with the 16p/l difference. its like 15% more fuel if you use a petrol.
you can get 40mpg out of a 1.8t that is chaeper to buy than a tdi
going by 100 miles to a tenner thats about 48 mpg (1000/105 = 9.5/4.54=2.1... 100/2.1 = 47)
and if you think about it 40mpg to 48mpg is about 15%!!!
clever oil companies we have isnt it..
this is coming from a red diesel, diesel, bio diesel, lpg and waste oil EX user.
-
petrol ftw :D
-
never thought i would hear the day but yep
-
hi guys, mine normaly returns 45-47mpg all day long, give it death and it'l come down to 32mpg.
on average 200miles outa £20.
the best car you will ever buy,1.9pd's all the way
