Anybody bought one of these? Are they any good? Thought i'd canvass a bit of opinion before I go and ruin my ecu lol.
-
sometimes the leads are naff.
-
Hit and miss.. most people end up buying the official lead afterwards anyway
-
Its true what they say you get what you pay for! I have had a cheap copy before and its ok but I think you are better off paying the price for the proper gear!
-
ok cool
Is the software they provide a pirate version then do you reckon?
I thought the official kit cost like 400 quid or something stupid
-
try a site called Ross Tech in America
-
Buy this

I bought from this seller, and the quality was excellent.
-

-

the only other thing you need is a laptop

Use 'Parallels' on your Mac, it works really well.
-
what about Mac's???
-
what about Mac's???
T_J_G said that he wanted VAGCOM but it would not work on his Mac, and that he did not want to install Bootcamp, bootcamp would have allowed him dual boot his Mac with Vista\XP, I was suggesting installing 'Parallels' on his Mac, this is a virtual machine emulator software which would have allowed him to install XP without trashing his Mac and thus able to use VAGCOM.
-
cheers for that...will just have to get around the admin rights on my work laptop then
