Title: Steering rack question
Post by: jacko16v on 21 October 2008, 07:46
Have just taken power steering off my mk2 as it was dead, fitted a brand new manual rack but am having problems getting the rack to reach the steering column. Got about a 1" gap. Question is will i have to get a manual racks column or is there another way round this?

You need the shaft with the two universal joints on it from a manual steering car.
