Title: GTi Exhausts

I've got an 8v GTi exhaust system on my 1.6 Driver but after some bad advice in which I was told a back box for a 16v GTi would fit straight on, I'm now in possesion of a Scorpion backbox that I want on.

I've just been informed the bores are different sizes, any suggestions as to what I do to get it on?  :-[

You need to fit a sleeve which will allow the different diameter pipes to be fitted together.

Are these easily available or would your average garage be able to make one or something?

Most exhaust suplliers will be able to fit one for you, i had one fitted by Edmunds Exhausts no probs.

Well it went into the garage today and apparently the bore of the back box is too SMALL  ???
