Looks good, but that was my first thought!!!

airbag functionality?
i reckon it will work, BUT you will probably be killed by shards on Carbon

....
Made by TID - Same who made the paddles, and so will be excellent quality. I like the red circle - a nice GTI touch but would be very concerned about airbag release and also reflections off the carbon's lacquer. OTT when you've already got paddles.
So, not for me but very interesting to see.

yeah nice find, but a little too "in your face" if you will excuse the pun.
Although I absolutely love the red circle around the centre of the steering wheel. I've always found that that whole centre part of the wheel looks very cheap and 1.4 Polo like....!

I have to say i do not like C/F overload but that piece is class !!
its like WhiteGTi says the steering wheel is a bit too boring !
-
Apart from the obvious air bag questions I like it, especially as I have a manual g/box and as such no need for CF DSG paddles! Does anyone know how much?
-
You may have to phone the TT shop were Robin got his paddles to ask as they are the UK agent for TID.
-
Bit too much IMO but each to their own
