Title: 20k and had to have new front springs and strut mounts!!!
Post by: dino2 on 17 October 2008, 23:18
had a knock develop on n/s/f/ wheel area took the car into stealership as still under warranty expecting the usual (we cannot hear anything) receptionist rings me to tell me the car has to go back in as it needs new strut mountings and front springs W.T.F.!!
Car has only done 20k? car has 18" monza's just wondering if VW have fecked up with the spring rates and maybe the lower profile tyres and more un sprung weight have knocked seven bells out of strut mounts? . VW wont tell me why they are replacing front springs as well as mountings? Anyone else had the same problem??
