Title: Supercharged VR6 MK2... HIC do your best, please!

Hiya,

Currently insured through HIC on Audi Coupe GT, just picked up a Mk2 VR6 supercharged which I'm looking to insure separately so if you can run the numbers and let me know if there's anything more you need? Car has Cat 1 Toad alarm fitted.

OK to give me a call tomorrow? I guess the number's on the system?

This is making me think.. as Flux are your sister company I guess the way they work with engine swaps and mods is the same, Martin?

Basically if/when my 2.0 goes in, as the brakes arb and rear axle setup will be swapped from a GTI  to mtch, how will they calculate the insurance? will; it be considered a GTI by that point? if a proepr engineers reprot is presented to say X, Y, Z has been done, and do they also insure it on the car the engine came from? in this case a 1998cc/1992 Passat CL..?

Just seeing a Mk2 with VR6 dropepd in triggered the thought!  :smiley:
