I take it because you insert the guffings from your old key there is no need to re-program them?

Same and for some reason superglue wont hold it on!

Same as mine so I used araldite and it still wouldn't hold it, then it snapped off while I was at the reading festival. Spent the rest of the day paranoid I was going to lose my key

yep those crazy germans made there keys glue proof, mine lasted 2 days when i was glued :smiley:

I've tried 3 brands of super glue and one where you have to use a pre adhesive first and still wouldn't hold for long!

Would have thought the germans would have made the key snap proof thou

I had the same problem with my last car; Got around it with gluing my door key directly onto the car key :drool:
Dont worry though, it wasn't a VW lol.
