Title: What is a good paint I can use on the engine?

Looking for somethign easy to get, that I can use to paint the block while I have the engine out.

Hammerite.

It's good for 400 degrees C, and covers very very well in either brush on or aerosol.

Yes - B & Q or homebase should have a good selection of colours  :smiley:

Don't get it on your hands only time gets it off.
