your all just a bunch of carbon whores.
-
You lot are mad! I'm going to have to go into the carbon fibre business.
-
I think it'd look nicer if you managed to the the side spokes/arms. Not being a CF fan, I would still advocate that mod.
-
....
Phil and Hurdy have recently fitted the carbon paddles, so now they need the steering wheel insert don't they
-
Your steering wheel looks a bit battered!

I looked at that a while back on the carbon dynamics site. I also asked about it at the TT shop when I ordered the paddles and they knew nothing about it. Did you order it direct RR?

....It came from CD via TTshop. If you call Justin he'll get one for you. It is a nice finishing touch imo and makes the cf paddles look more oem-ish.
I'm about to resurrect the CF VW badges GB - There's been some progress at last!
-
Your steering wheel looks a bit battered!
....Just 55k miles of use. I really like the way it has worn-in - Looks and feels rather like a favourite pair of leather shoes. What's yours look like, pristine?
-
dare i ask how much????????????
-
nice touch and your right about it looking oem.
-
dare i ask how much????????????
If you need to then you can't afford it

Nope I dont like it, it looks badly cut around the inside.I couldn't live with it.

....Well if you do succumb to Temptation, order it when the VW carbon badges GroupBuy goes through and, who knows, you may get a small discount. Of course TTshop already may have stock of the wheel insert - I don't know.

I can advise against it after building a carbon fibre boat for 6 months!
Was building this in Italy over the summer

Carbon fibre when in dust form is more toxic than asbestos

i can get it you, as an example he quoted me aprox £150 for a carbon bottom panel on an edition 30 rear apron (the part with the exhaust cutout that people have been painting black)
-
Some nice bits there... Got a feeling the word "overkill" may come into play here at some point

its not all on the same car by the way, its various bits he has done for people
-

....It's called an exhaust trim.
I assume it would be a carbon piece stuck-over-the-top of the existing one-piece Ed30 rear valance/bumper.
-
like it Rob :afro:
luvin the carbon fibre sills they would look the bees knees on me car!

it is, but it doesnt come off so i didnt want to call it a trim LOL, and as its one piece i guess he would just stick it on , he's never made one by the way, it would be a bespoke item
