I take it what you mean to ask is what belt should I use on a 2.0 AGG bottom end with a MK2 head right?  If so, a 2.0 8v 2e/AGG etc belt is what you need :)

While your here...

What else should I replace on the new engine before I swap it with the old one. Head Gasket etc was done 3-4 Years ago when the 2.0 conversion was done on a pb head. I have bought the block + head so wondering if I should change any other perishable bits or whether it would be pointless as it wasnt done that long ago.

not really much to worry about apart from the timing belt + tensioner, new cap, arm and sparkies is advisable and have a good look at the leads.  Check the alt & pas belts for wear/cracking, might as well do the rocker cover gasket as its only 8 nuts and cheapy!  Oil+filter obviously, make sure non of the sensors are leaking oil.
Apart from that make sure its got the right dizzy on it, but since you say it came out of a MK2 then it should be ok, just make sure its a digi one if you're running it on digi or a k-jet one if running on k-jet.

Should all be the same as its coming from a mk2 digi like mine

Should I get all this from VW? Just Ive heard some of GSF's stuff is a bit dodgy sometimes

nah gsf is fine for this kind of thing, just make sure that if theres 2 listed you buy the more expensive one!
