woohoo all my nasty wood trim is at my cousin bodyshop. He goin to spray them anthracite. He also spray all of the drivers handle that houses the switches. Aswell as passengers handle. Will post pics when its back together

I think i'm the only person that likes the wood trim? anthracite will look very nice though :smiley:

standard wood trim is so bad.  Makes car look rubbish i am 23 not 83

I love the wood trim, adds some luxury to the interior which is still nice otherwise.

It is, wood trim, leather, air con, things like that are luxuries, although more available now. They used to be restricted to only prestige cars.

The wood trim on the MK4 imo is a bit tacky. The black or the DIY silver is the way forward.

OHHHH Another person from Kent (VW/D4N) Fancy coming Brands meets in 2 weeks? ;)

I don't mind my 'wood' trim, it's quite dark - Especially compared to the wood that's in the V6 4M.  That is :sick:

Mines really dark aswell are there a few different shades then? I think mine looks alright aswell.

Brushed aluminum all the way!

Although I did have to do a DIY job on my wooden gear knob (just 'cos I'm too tight to splash out £85 for an R line one!)
