finaly found a topic i can help with
i work at halfords so i know quite alot about satnavs. go with Garmin, really well built, hardly ever have any problems with them and when we do garmin are really helpful and normally make us do a straight swap for a brand new unit.
for £99 at the moment you can get the Nuvi 250, basic unit, full postcode search, speed cameras ect and it has european maps. you can get it in a wide screen version too, the nuvi 250w, around £120-£130. i would personally steer clear of navigon, navman, sony ect. dont work how they should and i swear i have more of them reterned then i sell lol.
but yeh, Garmin defo.

yh i work for them 2. defnetly go for the 250 at that price, good little unit and european maps are a bonus because the 200 (uk model) at the same price.

what store do you work at?

Cheers guys, I have been told Garmin before, do they have a pedestrian mode? Just coz we tend to go out in the car and walk quite a bit, in the middle of nowhere lol!!!
Nice to not get lost for a change!
