Not a patch on the "BMW M3 csl in black" thats in you sig tho

Shaft, are you running those Michy cups on the CSL or just the plain old Pilot Sports?
-
Mich pilots you tried driving in them semi slicks waste of time in wet plus the wife drives it. I'd put to much mileage on it if use it for work. Best car in work to me i got it cheap as i work for bmw came in crashed. it was £12k to get fixed and customer couldn't pay so i bought it cost me £3k. Main part was front bumper had one at work with split in at paid £500 surcharge for it. New one from bmw near £4k bumper carbon fibre. Alway said if i won lottery i'd buy csl and i got one now.

i'm getting mine done by r-tech on the wednesday as well  I cant wait been ages since I had the joy of a remap in my life! hope it livens up the Audi like it did my Golf!!!

Mines booked in for the 28th will it make a big difference on a standard golf? Obviously gotta get the exhaust and induction sorted wondering wether to do that first now? Help.

Yes, they are quite scary in the wet. I used to work for BMW a few years a go, & remember taking a CSL out on the cups. Must've only used about a 1/4 throttle coming off the wet roundabout & the tail was wiggling like a good'un!!
You got a bargain there, mate - Especially if you fixed it yourself! 8)
I remember those front bumpers (new) were something like £2,500 un-painted, LOL!!

will make a large difference on a standard golf! you wont be sad i should imagine youd look something like this  you could always get the remap done then go stage 2 once youve put all your bits and bobs on, but if you had the exhaust etc you would get more power.. thats what i think im going to do...using stage 1 as a fuel saver and just so i dont feel like a barge captain anymore!

Thats a bloody good idea mate if I get the stage 1 remap then get my exhaust and induction sorted, Does anyone know how much Nick charges for the stage 2 after I have had the stage 1? Or do I have to pay the full price again?

outlaw doing yours after mine, nick said he was going to derby after mine. One thig about the csl it's an absolute monster, induction noise got to be heard to be believed so loud. Carbon intake with about 6" intake with bmc panel filter inside, dont think i'll ever sell it. keep it for my son when he can drive!!! Ye right.
-
Nice! where abouts are you located..are you just getting the stage 1 done tomos? Wonder how my audi 1.8t would match up to a remapped golf, not well i guess due to the weight!
-
No! no more work... I am fecked. 1000miles since monday morning over 32 working hours. make sure that coffee pot is warm in the morning lads we will need it.
Look forward to meeting both of you tomorrow.
