Title: engine swap

I decided to fit 2.0 16v 9A (from passat) engine in my golf gt mk2, now my golf have 1.8 mono-jetronic (RP) engine. I know i'll need tranny , ECU from passat and what other parts i will need?
P.S. my golf has the same suspension as the gti 8v

Use your g/box with a gti flywheel and (8v) clutch and the engine will drop straight in ;D. The exhaust manifold should be ok, 16v down pipe and a good stainless system to take care of the waste gasses. Fit the whole cise motronic from the passat, you will need a mk2 16v fuel pump as the mono jet one wont make enough pressure.
