Title: Diamond Audio Hex S600s are not 6.5" ??
Post by: Golf VR6 on 13 October 2008, 01:29
My Diamond Audio Hex S600s are meant to be 6.5" but they actually measure 6.25", that's not right is it?  I'm baffled by what's going on.  As a result, they do not fit into my MK3 Golf, i've done a search for speaker adaptor rings, but no success so far.  Anybody else had experiences with these S600s??

i've not had any fitting experience but a mate has the m661s and they fit as they should. If i was you i'd make a adapter plate out of mdf to make it fit as those are sweet instruments of sound hailing warfare!!! awsome quality

It's odd cos S600s are all listed as 6.5", i've bought these ages ago so there's no returning back.  Is MDF a good/common material to make an adaptor ring out of?  What other material does people use here that's easy to deal with?
