Title: Drive shaft bearings

I have just relaced the drivers side gearbox oil seas on a mk2 GTI 16v. I had just put it all together again and noticed the gasket had dropped out. I undone the torx nuts again to remove the shaft to put the gasket in. I pulled the shaft and it popped out along with the 6 large ball bearings leaving the inner CV joint casing in the drive flange.. I have been trying for two hours to get them in. Can anyone help me out with fitting the bearings back in again?
