I am lost here, why buy the Nuespeed one when it doesn't come with a bolt, where as the ECS does?
the mucked mine up to when i was there but luckily i and another forum member noticed their error
-
I think he was saying that he ordered the esc one but got sent the neuspeed one.
-
me and luca got the last ECS ones last friday. I don't think the std bolt or the ECS supplied 1 are stretch bolts, although the ECS 1 has a higher number on the head, std 8.8 ECS 10.something, I think this is a strength rating of the bolt(maybe tensile), not 100%. I'm sure TT will put me straight if I'm talking nonsense

If you look on the Awesome website, it states in the description of the ECS insert that it is a stretch bolt

the right thing to do then was to say sorry we ve ran out ?not just send the nuspeed one with no bolt and charge me more money , am i being un reasonable here ??? today i ve had to order a bolt and go back to pick it up to enable me to fit it at the weekend !!!!!

still not convinced, I've used stretch bolts on cars, bikes and planes before and they've have a waisted portion where the 'stretch' takes place. Both these bolts don't, they just look like plain big bolts, I might be wrong and if in doubt fit a new one.

I must admit mine didn't look like a stretch bolt either

If the bolt hardness is rated 10 then it shouldn't stretch.
