Title: chrome or brushed stainless style mirror covers?
Post by: john_o on 05 October 2008, 19:28
after washing the GTI today I reckoned it needs a little something to brighten the lines. (on a black car)
So I fancy the wing mirrors like on the Audi's

Can be bought as chrome and/or DIY'd into a brush sation alu look
(seen a golfmkv thread)

Nice or Nasty?

Start a bank account as a new car fund.
Whenever daft modding urges pop into your noggin just price them up and pay the money into the account.

That way you'll keep a perfect GTI and have lots of dosh for the Mk7.

I suspect you have the dosh to do both.

well just to be stubborn , I still like it

carbon are nice but maybe too subtle

rare in the uk on a mkv , so thats a good thing
dont mind I'm copying Audi , because it still looks good imho (besides I am a wannabe S3 )
Gaz I can handle as he'll be to busy trying to tell me about his Haldex  while I whisk past [wish ]

Hurdy thanks for the offer , but I need chrome (to be able to make it brushed effect)
(unless you can find a good brushed effect satin chrome finish!)

Egbert , common sense yes , but thats too boring
