Title: Extra buttons
Post by: stealthwolf on 05 October 2008, 18:31
On the GTI, down by the gear stick, there's the ESP button, the Tire set button and two blanks.

What should go into the blank buttons?

i know what one of those button blanks are, mine has a wire and Hook ejection system which allows me to hook on the rear bumper of the

car infront when needed stealthwolf!, i wonder when i used that

In all serious, no, i cant think what they could be. Maybe a push start button for the Bottom of the range models no doubt knowing Vw!

Turbo Boost

Could definitely do with that! Reckon an auto-cruise function would be nice too.

As Rhyso said, it is German, and "Funk" translated means "radio".  The switch is used by German emergency services for operating their two-way radios.  :nerd:

Not seen them in the Golf5, but are prolly used in the latest Passat, which is now based on the Golf5 platform.  Audis also have a funk button.
