Title: Flappy Paddle retro-fit
Post by: kingbilly on 03 October 2008, 23:58
Sorry if this question has been asked a million times, but is it possible to retro-fit flappy paddles to a May 2005 GTi DSG...???

Would I need a complete Multi Function Steering Wheel, which I'm not too bothered about, or can I just get the paddles, which is all I really want.

Any idea of costs.

Many thanks,
KB

You'll need:

New steering wheel with the cutouts on the back for the paddle switches.

Set of paddles.

Interface box which sits inside the wheel at the bottom i.e. paddles plug into it.

Airbag and / or wiring harness.

Slipring assy.

VCDS to activate the paddles.
