I cant make out if I can see a 16v badge on the front or on the side? And are those bbs alloys?
-
those arent the bbs ra that they come with, look like mk3 vr6 bbs ???
i vote 8v cos of the gap between arch and front tyre, looks 8v height
-
i cant even see any gti badging on the side, i would say 8v but is it even a gti? and where is the bee sting? i can see an aerial in the wing!

whats a bee sting?
-
its the aerial that goes at the back of the roof, not the wing one.
was it just 16v that had a standard beesting?
-
I'd say it's an 8v.
Because I thought all 16v had a bee sting ???
-
you see the aerial above the rear window? thats called a beesting aerial!

yeah only 16v had them as standard and it was because of the higher powered ignition (apparently) so they had to put it further away from the engine
-
In conclusion to this thread, bollocks :(
-
definately an 8valver mate ;)
-
Why have i got a bee sting on my 8v then? ???
-
aftermarket maybe??????
-
ive got a bee sting on my 8valver as well ;)
-
me too ;D
I found a power ariel under my n/s wing a while ago and tore it out and binned it. extra weight >:(
-
the original ones are pants tho, they dont have the amplified lead on them that the aftermarket ones do
-
most people fitted them to 8vs cos they look better than the fishing rod out front
