Hey all.
Had my first warranty visit yesterday.Went in for a couple of issues,1 to sort out all the rattles,(new door card ordered) but the 2nd was an old MK4 fault.
The window regulator had gone tits up.I just close the window as normal using the auto button. After a while the window would rattle like crazy.Press the button again and it would shut another 5mm.dealer would,nt say if its a common fault but try it on yours.
So a big thanks to the dealer for loaning me that 1.4ltr golf.Whatever happened to like for like??.
Finally got to sit in the new scirroco. This one was priced at 24k and feck I was hooked..Very nice.

You may laugh, my friends put their Mitsu Shogun into a dealer for warranty, they were not given a loan car, as they didnt really need one.
They went shopping in their other Jeep, and their Nice new shogun was in the shop carpark, and when Peter waited to question the driver, it turned out to be another customer of the garage, who had been given the car a a loaner!
Not good!

I dont know if I,d wait to question the guy,my first thoughts would be someone,s nicked my car from the dealer and (quite wrongly I may add) slap him about a bit..
Was,nt it Hurdy who sussed the garage was speeding in his car, checked on his GPS or something?

I'd go and play baseball with the dealers head if he gave my car out as a loaner. Seriously. It wouldn't be insured for a start as the driver does not have your permission to drive it. W@nkers. :undecided:

Had a Passat
New seat cover (2nd one), new centre console & arm rest (after it was damaged in the garage last time), new centre air vents and trim ( to get rid of the rattle :again:)
The rattles gone but the they damaged the "soft touch" plastic around the gear selector :undecided: So that needs replacing now. :undecided:
The blue Scirooco in the showroom was very nice though
