One word 'heavy', have you used a rotary before
-
Nope, just one of those two handed buffer things.... hence the interest/ need for a rotary!
-
The Orange one they do is better.
but
If you have never used a rotory think about this much safer to use

More control over the speed it rotates.

I've had the blue one for about a year now and used it twice, you need to keep it moving and do not stay in one place too long or you will do damage to the paintwork. Also I find using a little water on the surface helps as well.
Over all good product for the price.

i am a dealer for silverline tools
i personly use the prange one wich i can currently get hold of for around £35 pm if intersted
-
I have heard good reviews on the orange one even though it is not much more expensive becuase of the better speed adjustment in it also.
-
have one of the orange ones at work, it seems to work allright, the motor dose smell a bit occasionaly for no reason but it's still going. thing with silverline is it's stupidly cheep so don't expect it to last to long.

i use the orange one often it is very easy to use and not too heavy and has good speed adjustment just make sure you use the correct pad for your paintwork

plus most places sell these with a 3 year warranty

i use the really expensive ones at work from 3M and Frecla, however what i havel earnt (sadly the hard way) is that u have to pay attention to what u r doing and if u 'burn' the paint ur talking respray time, also if u can either use a Frecla compound or 3M i know its a matter of opinion on what u use but u do get what u pay for
