hi everyone. New to the forum and the vw world. just bought my first golf, a mk2 gti 8v in green. not sure what the colour is its not the oak or the light green but somewhere in between, will post a pic so someone can tell me maybe. The interior is stripped apart from a couple of rather smart bucket seats! needs new wing and front bumper but engine and gearbox feel/sound good. any ways lokking forward to many hours of hard work on my own car for a change, im a bmw mechanic, laters :smiley:

alrite mate ye same jus had my first mark two 1.8 8v

its black on a h reg, lowerd tsw split rims

i fuukin luv it best car eva

cheers for the warm welcome. got myself a set of lowering springs n shocks and some bbs wheels (not the desireable ones) but looks good. cant decide weather to fit leather rear seat and door cards or go for some cheaper but better condition cloth, got to think about the kids! so excited about getting stuck in

Aargh! I know im new but im frustrated. Really want a leather interior (rear seat and door cards) just not having much luck. will pay for goodquality :sad:
