Ive done mi16 into 309 goodwood.... Am i bein silly???

no you will spend a fortune and you won't be able to sell it again for a reasonable amount.

Thought it might be out of the price range... however resale price doesn't bother me ive got a collection of motors.
What is the best in a mk1 there is a cheap one near home cos the engines gone, what about a 16v or 8 v mk2 engine would be cheaper??

Looked @ the car its a non gti model
How much extra will i need to fit the engine. Will a donor 16v mk2 have all the bits i will need??
