Hi Folks,
I've been thinking of rimage for the Rado ever since I got it. I like the current rims enough not to have binned them straight away (Besides I can't afford any new ones right now) but I've been mulling over options all the same. THere are lots of rims out there that suit the Rado like Schmidts and BBS splits but these are all well out of my budget. One of the rims I've always liked were Millie Miglia Spyders and I was looking for some to paint white for the Passat but now I have the Rado I also thought they may look good on that. THen today I found a pic of a Rado with some fitted and I think they look good, certainly better than my current rims.

What do you guys think?
Getting a set is going to take a while though. Been searching forums and eBay for 6 months and none have come up in the right size and PCD yet and you can't buy them new anymore (Not that my budget would allow that anyway!).

not for me Nick but if you like em go for it, i prefer your idea of the BBS splits, or sum deep dish monsters, at work at the mo so i aint got any links for ya, appreciate money is an issue i would just hold on, have ya checked ebay lately?

Look good, especialy with the low pros!
-
No.
The ones youve got look better.
-
what size are you going for? i think 16's suit the raddo best imo.
-
17's as that's whats on their now and it handles awesomely plus the alloys I have now have 4 brand new tyres so if I source a set with shonky tyres I only have to get them swapped over.
Nick
-
oh yeah forgot how expensive tyres are in those sizes, im used to my cheap as chips 15's!
-
prefere the ones that are on it :undecided:
-
nick my mate buys and sells alloys on ebay and he is constantly on the look out. what width do you require? i assume you are after et35 offset? do you want mint ones or are you prepared to put a bit of work into them? also do you want mille miglia or is it the style you like?
if he finds any i can give you the heads up.
-
No.
The ones youve got look better.
I agree, and they must be lighter so give you better handling
-
Don't ke those.
What about some cheap BBS from ebay plenty on there!
-
BBS's are too small!
Nick

I saw the first pic and didnt like them but they look really good in the second pic so i cant decide personally!
Get some deep dish rims
-
This new style will suit the style of the Corrado much better than your current rims. I like them anyway
-
I think they suit the 'rado, but your opinion is the only one that counts

BBS's are too small!
Nick
Really?
Think with a bit of a slam they look ok:

too 'late nineties, early 2k's' for my liking... were fashionable for a while and now look dated. if they were whit they'd look crap.
-
Nick,
having seen the Rado in the flesh today ( funny old world innit ) i dont think either will suit mate.
you need so FAT SPOKED rims, not skinny ones.
oh and good to talk

-2 for the clio though!
-
BBS look OK when slam-darn-diddly-amed but I'm not lowering mine anymore than it is and they look a bit 4x4 on 15's without the big drop.

I dunno about that. I've always had a hankering for an original and sorted Williams Clio. Tidy little things and much more fun than the current 182's or whatever they are now.
